Setting the Session Agreement- How Master Coaches connect clients to their motivation to change

April 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Learning to set the session agreement thoroughly ensures that we take the fastest and easiest path to helping clients achieve their desired outcome.

We cannot instill motivation in anyone. We facilitate a process that allows for its emergence. Edward Deci says that “coaches must understand the motivational processes that give rise to change in order to facilitate an effective process.”  When we understand the connection between motivation and results we may be more committed to exploring it in order to strengthen it. This all starts with setting the agreement thoroughly.

In this virtual 1 hour class with Paulette Rao, MCC you will learn:

  • How to effectively establish a coaching session agreement
  • What establishing the session agreement imparts
  • How to connect a client to their intrinsic motivation to get more consistent results
