Biography

I am a former senior executive with solid experience leading high-performance organizations with a style that combines strategic approach with pragmatic implementation, associated with the best practices of coaching and supporting the improvement of individuals and teams.

My emphasis on people development was always present in my career, as a strong believer that people are the utmost differentiator factor and competitive advantage for any organization. Traditional competitive elements are available in the marketplace as technology can be acquired, processes can be copied from best practices, but with human resources is totally different. People need to be developed, motivated, and engaged, to continuously be productive, successfully facing the fast-growing business challenges, while to maintain good physical/mental health and well-balanced personal and work-life.

After stepping down from the corporate executive career, it was a natural decision to establish a boutique consultant company - Equilibrium Organizational Consulting & Coaching, in July 2021, to provide Coaching and Mentoring and thus, to continue my journey in helping people to improve their lives by achieving their full potential as individuals.

As an executive coach and organizational consultant, targeting to create high impact, my ideal clients operate at the Director level or above, are self-directed and results oriented, have a passion for making a difference and importantly, are willing to make a personal investment in learning from their own experience to guide future action!

 

As Coaching, I am certified from CCCP (Columbia Coaching Certification Program) class of 2014, a curriculum aligned with the coaching approach to the core competencies defined by ICF - The International Coaching Federation, organization which I am active member since 2019.

I have over 250 hours of practice with executive clients from different organizations (Epson, Unilever, Tupperware and Bauducco Foods), in the areas of general management, marketing, product, sales, and human resources, located in distinct places such as: North America, Brasil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Colombia.


In my role as Executive Coach, I utilize a variety of methods to help clients to fully understand the issues and opportunities they are facing. These methods include value clarification, issue identification, brainstorming of action plans, and examining modes of operating in work and life such as learning style, problem solving methods and personal interactions. The process uses a variety of personal and behavior assessment instruments including 360 feedback assessments, MBTI analysis and other value clarification methods determined to be useful to the Clients their self-awareness in the way to obtain his or her goals and objectives.


For Mentoring, I have large business experience with more than 25 years in senior positions having worked for global corporations - 3M, J&J, Ray-o-Vac, Philips, and Epson, in several Latin America markets and diverse industries: health care, consumer goods, consumer electronics, small domestic appliances, personal care, information technology and customer services, what gives me solid practice in successfully interacting with people of different cultures, from various parts of the world.


This understanding is very helpful in coaching/mentoring executives that have been transferred from NA to Latin America and vice versa.


My practice also gave me high commitment to the ESG principles that set the standards for a sustainable corporation, coming from a broad understanding and respect of multicultural perspectives and knowledge in corporate governance.
