The Spark That Changes Everything: Evoking Awareness in Executive Coaching

That’s Core Competency #7 in action. In this session, we’ll dig into how coaches evoke awareness using questions, silence, reframing, and metaphor — the very sparks that ignite lasting change. Come ready to practice, reflect, and maybe even have your own “aha” moment.

Learning Objectives tied to Core Competencies:

• Participants will be able to identify the markers of Core Competency #7 (Evokes Awareness) and explain how it differs from giving advice or direction.

• Participants will experiment with at least three methods (e.g., powerful questioning, silence, metaphor, reframing) and evaluate their impact in peer practice.

• Participants will leave with a personalized plan for how to incorporate at least one new awareness tool in their next client session.
