About this event

Core Competencies Summit Fall 2025
with Marcia Reynolds, MCC
Date: October 14, 2025 | 5:30 PM
Our Vision: Our vision is to create an engaging, high-impact experience where professional coaches come together to share knowledge, best practices, and transformative ideas.

Competency 3 - The Difference Between the Minimum Standards and Maximum Effectiveness

When you start coaching, there are particular pieces of the coaching agreement that must be demonstrated. As you gain experience, you want to have these competencies met in a more conversational flow where you coach your clients to see what is possible for them to create in your time together.

This session will look how to listen for what the client really wants to have the agreement emerge and evolve, and the presence you must maintain to active their imaginative capabilities to see and believe in what is possible for them to create. The session will include a coaching demonstration to discuss the application of the competency.

  • Understand the developmental flow of applying Competency #3 from ACC to PCC to MCC and beyond.

  • Learn how to apply skills of presence, listen actively, and evoking awareness to coach the person to discover what is possible to envision as their outcome for coaching to anchor the session on a positive note even when exploring the shadow side of their thinking.
