Mastering a Coaching Mindset: Expanding Presence and Impact

In today’s fast-changing and complex world, coaches are called to go beyond tools and techniques—to embody a mindset that allows for deeper presence, resilience, and connection. This interactive session with the ICF South Florida Chapter explores what it truly means to master a coaching mindset, as defined by the ICF Core Competencies.

Participants will discover how cultivating awareness, curiosity, and openness enables coaches to navigate uncertainty while remaining grounded in service of their clients. We will explore the practices that strengthen self-reflection, enhance intuition, and expand empathy, empowering coaches to create safe, transformative spaces. Through dialogue and experiential exercises, attendees will deepen their understanding of how mindset shapes every coaching interaction and learn practical ways to nurture it in daily life.

Whether you are new to coaching or a seasoned professional, this session will help you elevate your practice by aligning inner being with outer doing. Mastering a coaching mindset is not a destination but a continual journey—one that enriches both the coach and those they serve. Join us to reconnect with the heart of coaching and expand the impact you bring into the world.

About the Speaker: Luis Miguel Gallardo, PCC

Luis Miguel Gallardo is the Founder and President of the World Happiness Foundation and World Happiness Fest, platforms that unite and amplify the impact of thousands of knowledge and practice leaders on human development, happiness, and well-being worldwide. Luis Miguel is the author of "Happytalism," "The Exponential of Happiness," and "Brands & Rousers," and he is the co-founder of the Gross Global Happiness program at the University for Peace of the United Nations. Professor of Practice at Shoolini University, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mental Health Coach. He holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, an MA in Peace Studies from the Richardson Institute at Lancaster University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. PhD Candidate in Yoga.
