Shift Happens: Masterful Ways to Evoke Awareness
The presentation will begin with understanding what it means to shift the client's perspective to create awareness. Creating awareness is not necessarily limited to one big a-ha but rather can happen often during the coaching conversation. Participants will learn what they are listening for so they can recognize the leverage point where a shift in thinking can take place. They will learn how to question a client's perception vs. their actual truth. It is also important to understand the client's resistance/reluctance to shifting (holding tight to their story and ideas) because of underlying fears and/or beliefs that aren't actually true that don't support making changes.
