CC#2 - Embodies a Coaching Mindset
In this dynamic 90-minute session, we explore ICF Core Competency 2: Embodies a Coaching Mindset—the foundation of professional coaching presence. This competency invites coaches to cultivate ongoing self-awareness, reflective practice, and a growth-oriented attitude that sustains effectiveness in every coaching relationship. Through interactive discussion and experiential learning, participants will examine what it truly means to “be” a coach rather than simply “do” coaching.
The session will unpack the key elements of this competency—developing reflective habits, managing personal triggers, maintaining resilience, and embracing continuous learning. Participants will engage in reflective exercises, small-group dialogue, and practical activities designed to strengthen their mindset and adaptability as coaching professionals.
Whether you are refining your ICF credential pathway or deepening your practice, this session offers valuable insights and practical tools to align your way of being with ethical, impactful coaching. You will leave with greater clarity, self-awareness, and strategies to intentionally nurture the mindset that distinguishes masterful coaches in today’s evolving professional landscape
