Did you know that ICF South Florida has several committees that help our volunteer board of directors?
The VP of Membership has the Membership Committee; the VP of Programming has the Programming Committee; and the VP of Outreach Programs has the Outreach Programs Committee. Each of these committees help their respective board member with their position. Our chapter launched the Welcoming Committee (now the Membership Committee) in 2020 and due to its success, the other two committees were created for launch in 2021.
All of the members on each of the committees collaborate and come up with new programming and content to help us continue and become an even more resourceful chapter for our members. For example, the idea of having Special Interest Groups (SIGs) came out of the Welcoming Committee, and these were implemented by the VP of Programming.
The VP of Membership and the Membership Committee hold monthly new member meetings to welcome new and potential members to the chapter. They also work with new members and to retain members.
The VP of Programming and the Programming Committee work to put on the best programming possible for our membership. They also reach out to members to discover what kind of programming is most beneficial to us all.
The VP of Outreach Programs and the Outreach Programs Committee work to bring awareness about our Chapter to the greater community at large. They also work on forming alliances with other non-profits to deliver both paid and pro bono coaching.
