Coaching Tip of the Month

As we approach the end of the year, many of us start to count our blessings and achievements.
This month we celebrate Thanksgiving, and I want to take this time to give thanks to all the great people and outstanding achievements we got this year (so far 😊).

Please, join me in congratulating all the fantastic people that make the success of our Chapter.
Our members: as I mentioned last month, represent the richness and diversity of our South Florida community. Your presence, collaboration, and participation have made our year productive and full of learnings.

Programming Committee, led by Anastasiya Rusilka. Webinars, Special Interest Groups, Networking, and Book Club. Yes. We had all of them. Since January, we have had 26 events executed by the committee. This year we still ran everything online and got great feedback from attendees.

Membership Committee, led by Victor Gonzalez Galeano and Jan Tintner (until Jul-2021): we currently have more than 350 members in our Chapter – 200+ are ICF credential holders. This means more than 15% growth compared to 2020. If you haven’t participated in one of our Onboarding meetings, please, do so.

Outreach Committee, led by Valeska Martins: this committee has been working on expanding your reach to the clients and promoting the value of Coaching to clients in connection with professional organizations, nonprofits, and academia. Thanks to their work, we are promoting the importance of coaching and expanding the opportunities for more clients to all of us.
Finance Director Chris Lewis and Secretary Vanessa Galvão: as a not-for-profit organization ‘child’ of a huge also not-for-profit, governance, organization, and discipline with our finances and controls are imperative. This team helps us to have a healthy chapter and support all the other areas.

Last but not least, our Marketing and Communications Director, Meredith Kimmel, who promotes everything the committees prepare and execute, controls the digital “fabric” of our community, keeping us informed and connected.

Wait, but… This section is called Tip of the Month, right?
Yes, here it goes, the Tip of the Month: get connected to our Board of Directors and the ICF South Florida Committees. We were hoping you could support our Chapter, volunteering and helping to keep our community growing and thriving.

Let’s keep working together to transition our Chapter to the 2021 President, Mesha-Gay Walker. Mesha has been a member of our community and part of the Board for many years - her love and commitment to this organization are part of all of us. Thank you!
