The Power of Team Culture – Why it Matters & Where it Starts
Monday, May 8, 2023
Team coaching can be fun and extremely rewarding when you have the tools and the confidence to facilitate sessions that move the needle and positively impact the bottom line. The presentation will cover how a culture gets defined & created, the components of a high performing culture, and how things can go awry when team dynamics shift.
About the Speakers:
Bari Schanerman and Shannon Egan
Bari worked in the financial area of several large Regional Banks and in business development for a Community Credit Union where she discovered her love for building relationships and informally coaching others. During the 20 years in Financial Institutions, and while working with a variety of Non-Profit Organizations doing advocacy and outreach, she noticed the need for professional development and coaching to support leaders in building teams that help each other grow together. Bari’s mission became connecting people with resources to discover what’s possible when working together for a shared goal.
In 2012, Bari became a Certified Professional Coach to learn new tools and better understand how to bring out the best in others. As a Facilitator and Strategist, Bari works with professionals and businesses to identify their unique combination of superpowers and definition of success, so they can articulate and integrate this knowledge into their life as well as communicate it to others to understand each other better. Bari’s focus is on getting the culture right in businesses to achieve the success they desire while closing the gaps that exist between the words and the actions.
Shannon became an iPEC Certified Professional Coach in 2015 after working in corporate finance roles for nearly a decade at two Fortune 500 companies in the hospitality industry. She launched her coaching business, Shannon Claire Coaching, to pursue her passion for developing people. Shannon believes that sustainable change happens from the inside out, and she leads with this coaching philosophy in her work with individuals and teams. Her clients include entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and high level decision makers at publicly traded companies and rapidly growing startups.
