How to Capture and Keep Attention When You're the Speaker: Insights and Practical Pointers
Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 5:00pm

You’re invited to take a quick, deep dive into the world of public speaking, with a goal to help you deliver presentations that the audience is sorry to see end. And to consider how the right kind of public speaking could lead to more business for you and your coaching practice.

Explore and experience strategies and techniques on how to develop your content for a specific time allotment that promotes interest in you and your know-how without “giving away the store,” as they say. Take advantage of the opportunity to think about your area of expertise and how it could be best adapted for presenting to larger groups as well as smaller key audiences. What sets you apart from other experts in your area, and how can you demonstrate your unique know-how and skills?

Learn proven techniques to enhance your delivery on stage and to better connect with the different types of personalities and interests in the room or online, without coming across as “salesy” or a commercial.

Find out about preparing yourself to speak with confidence and style, and how to reduce the potential for stress and unnecessary anxiety, including techniques for how to rehearse for best results.

Included are:
• Techniques to open that command attention.
• How to organize your content to maintain interest.
• Using your hands, voice and other key body parts on stage and online.
• Tactics to get ready for the unexpected.
