Your Story is Your Personal Brand
Wednesday, May 10, 2023, 5:00 PM

Your personal brand is not simply your website, social media or testimonials. While those are important components, your brand is something much deeper. It's the relationship that you create with your ideal audience.

However, the idea of 'branding' can bring up ... um ... mixed reactions, including connotations of being 'fake' or inauthentic. On top of that, the idea of branding photography can feel like a perfectionist anxiety landmine.

So how do you create a personal brand that feels deeply authentic to you and draws in your ideal clients at the same time? How do you create personal branding photos that showcase your best side and also look like you?

You embrace the power of story.

In this webinar, I show you how to use storytelling to make branding joyful, authentic and fun, while building that deep, genuine connection with your ideal client. You'll learn about the four kinds of limiting beliefs that might be getting in your way and what you can do about them. Through eye-popping examples and case studies of my photography, you'll learn to find and visually express your own stories.

Topics covered:

  1. Do you need photography as part of your brand? When is it a good idea to use photos compared to other media ?
  2. Why does being in front of a camera feel so scary for many of us? What can we do about it?
  3. What's the story that you want to tell in your photo session? Let's talk about the five kinds of stories that you can use in your photos to create a deep, genuine connection with your audience.
  4. FAQs about photo shoot logistics: What kind of photos do I need? How do I decide what to wear? Props? Locations?

About the Speaker: Raj Bandyopadhyay

In 2016, Raj was a data scientist at a hot Silicon Valley startup; with a comfortable 6-figure salary, status that came from success in a sexy field, and only a mild sense of mid-life dissatisfaction.

Then his partner, his then-wife of 8 years, came out as transgender.

Seeing his partner find joy in his true self forced Raj to ask the question, “What do I need to change in my life to feel true to myself?”

Today, as a personal branding photographer, he helps coaches, consultant and speakers find and convey their multifaceted, vibrant stories on camera.

His mission is to help people feel safe to express themselves fully as human beings and build a genuine, lasting connection with their audience.
