3 Foundational Strategies to Beat Imposter Syndrome as a “new coach”

As a coach, we are incredibly proud of our profession and happy about what we do. Often, we have been wanting to start coaching for quite some years. Finally, we are doing it; however, most of us did not expect to have to deal so much with our impostor and inner critic. Unfortunately, this impostor is not easy to deal with; it is loud, brings you down, and often makes you feel like you should give up, thinking this path is not meant for you. It drains your energy, time, and happiness, and too often prevents you from taking action. Carolina fully understands this struggle, having navigated similar challenges herself. The good news is that she became curious. What was happening? What had changed? Why was that impostor so loud again? How could she beat those impostors? In this session, participants will gain insights into Carolina’s three foundational strategies for overcoming impostor syndrome as new coaches. The presentation will cover the origins of impostor syndrome, its impact on personal growth, and delve into foundational strategies to combat these self-limiting beliefs. By sharing personal experiences and practical guidance, attendees will be equipped with tools to confront their inner impostor, boost self-confidence, and take proactive steps towards establishing a resilient coaching practice. This session aims to empower individuals to navigate their coaching journey with confidence and authenticity.
