Dr. Celia Szelwach, is the owner and principal consultant of PCS2 Consulting LLC focused on creating inclusive, healthy, high performing cultures. Previously, she served as Professor of Practice, Leadership and Organization Development (OD) for Cabrini University’s Doctorate in OD and Change Program; and Co-Director, Fulbright-Hays “Bridges to Zambia II” Project. She has practiced her passions of OD, Leadership Development, and Change Management for over 30 years and has held a variety of executive leadership and consulting positions, most recently as Director of Organizational Development for a local government agency. In these roles, she has led large-scale change initiatives, business partnerships, client and community relations, and organizational communications to deliver breakthrough results in industries such as Fortune 50 food and beverage, Fortune 100 defense, durable manufacturing, pharmaceutical, health care, professional services, federal government, education, and non-profit.
As a military officer and senior-rated parachutist in the U.S. Army Transportation Corps at Fort Bragg, NC, she coordinated with transportation and logistics agencies for the 18th Airborne Corps Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during Desert Storm and managed logistical operations for two humanitarian service deployments in support of Hurricane Andrew disaster relief in Homestead, Fla. and Haitian relief in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Celia is passionate about serving veterans and was appointed by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to two advisory committees on women veterans and minority veterans. She also founded and led WOVEN Women Veterans Network for over 7 years. She was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Defense to the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (DACODAI) in 2022.
Celia holds certifications as a yoga teacher, Board Certified Coach (BCC), Project Management Professional (PMP), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, DDI Leadership Master Trainer, and DDI Targeted Selection Program Manager. She also completed the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate through University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business. She graduated in the 11th class of women from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA in International Trade and a Doctorate in Business Administration. She is currently enrolled in the Level II ICF-accredited Executive and Professional Coaching Certificate Program at the University of Texas in Dallas (expected completion August 2024).
In acknowledgement of her academic contributions, she was selected as an Admiral James M. Loy Institute for Leadership Faculty Fellow supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Academy from 2020-2022 and served as a Faculty Migration Fellow supporting the Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language (UISFL) grant to Guatemala in 2020. Her publications in peer-reviewed journals focus on Embodied Leadership, Virtual Team Effectiveness, Holistic Embodied OD, and Women Veterans.
